another poem about how ppl dont like flowers when they lose their color. its acutally kinda stupid but watevr

Lovely colors,
So they say,
See them bloom?
Now fade away,
And as they do,
We all look the other way,
Turn our backs just because,
The colors aren’t happy as the day,
Still the same flower,
Still the same ray,
Yet somehow no one likes the blossom,
Because the ‘pretty’ colors, once there, have been replaced with shades of gray,
So as the flower wilts and dies,
Some of them will shut their eyes,
But not I,
and perhaps not you?
For we both know just what we knew.

i just wrote another poem it's called 'secrets seep through pores'. the rhymings a bit off but i still like it

Tears of the heart,
That tear through the soul,
Taunt us as we come apart,
Hold on tight and don’t let go,
Living secret lives as though,
I haven’t cried,
As though,,
I haven’t died,
As though,
I still feel the part;
Happy, go lucky girl,
As though,
The words you’ve spoken aren’t,
Cruel and undecided,
Uncaring and one-sided,
As though,
Our smiles are still supported,
Still loved and not distorted,
By pictures of perfection,
In no way masked by deception,
But they are,
And so we do,
And I cry when I think of you,
And what you think I don’t know,
So keep doing as is done,
And I’ll pretend it was as though,
the dying will go on,
Through many many layers,
Filled of love, hate and slayers,
Slayers of me, and you,
And what we thought we were meant to do.
